"At Simmons I helped to start the Student Labor Action Project (SLAP) that built solidarity between workers and students.

"After graduating I worked with Massachusetts Jobs with Justice as the SLAP coordinator, and recently have worked with Early Head Start. I have worked on housing justice issues, including a three year campaign for affordable housing and community controlled development as well as post-foreclosure anti-eviction organzing in East Boston.

"I enjoy spending time with family and friends, dancing, working out and am excited to be living in Miami again."
