On November 4, the County Commission will vote on regulations that will affect us.
We fought for the moratorium so that we could find solutions in the fight against the closing of mobile home parks.
So far, we have forced our county commission to:
• Declare the moratorium to stop the closing of mobile home parks.
• Create new zoning regulations for mobile home parks.
• Change the Comprehensive Development Master Plan to preserve parks. (The original plan did not have any parks open in ten years)
• Found resources to help the mobile home owners to purchase their parks.
• Adopt stronger requirements of relocation when an owner closes a park.
