1Miami and South Florida Jobs with Justice will have a joint leadership meeting from 3pm until 6pm.

South Florida Jobs with Justice honors the work and life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Cowardice asks the question, 'Is it safe?'

Expediency asks the question, 'Is it politic?'

But conscience asks the question, 'Is it right?'

And then there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular because conscience tells one it is right."

- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Vecinos Unidos is currently working on two fronts: Mobile Home Council and Residents Committee. The Mobile Home Council, the first in the state, with more than 120 members from 15 mobile homes parks has been active since July 2007. We are confident that in building Vecinos Unidos we are developing a model for community and labor action.
